The Töölö Cigarshop

The Töölö Cigar Shop, located at Töölökatu 32, near the Scandic and Crowne Plaza hotels, has served Helsinki residents and visitors since the year 2000. Mr. Markku Uotila is at Your service. In English, Arabic and Russian.

The Töölö Cigar shop offers a cozy atmosphere and expert service. Our wall humidors, the most spacious in town, display a wide array of the finest cigars.

We also provide pipes, pipe tobacco and accessories for the discerning smoker, as well as a broad selection of humidors, cases, water pipes, tobacco pouches, and other products related to the culture of tobacco. In addition we offer estate coffee in beans or we can grind it for you. We also have knives and other gift items for sale.



Smoking lounge Olohuone is located next to Töölön Sikarikauppa. For a small fee you can relax on the couch with your favorite cigar or a pipe.

Markku Uotila

Smoke! Mr Markku Uotila is a veteran photographer. He published his Egyptian Encounters in 1995 (ISBN:9789529851041, Musta Taide publishing), and he exhibited his photographs of hammams , or Arabic baths, in spring 2006 at the old Arla public sauna in Helsinki.  Mark's camera is always at the ready in the Töölö cigar shop.  In the summer of 2007, his customers began to sit for the"Smoke!" series.  The result is a magnificent collection echoing classical portraiture, with the smoking subjects captured in soft, ambient Nordic light.  Many of the prints are now on display at the shop; exhibitions and a publication will follow.
